In 1977 I had just completed a teaching degree at York University and was taking a year off to make handcrafted flutes. On the second day of selling my wares at York, I found myself set up next to a beautiful woman displaying her equally enticing jewellery.

Thirty three years later we are celebrating our life together, our family and the good fortune to still be making our living doing what we love.  To spend one’s time creating objects of beauty in the
comfort of a fine studio is a gift that never ceases to inspire.

Delicate Touch aptly describes the elaborately  detailed work that has become our trademark. Shelli’s passion for creating designs and hand sawing pieces that imply a wonderful sense of movement in metal, have earned us a dedicated following and numerous awards.

Whether it is the tranquility of our backyard garden oasis, canoeing in Algonquin, or our travels  to Asia, India, the Middle East and South America, the artistry of the natural world invariably makes its way into out jewellery. Flowers, animals,birds,flowing lines and coloured gems  adorn many of the sterling silver and gold pieces we create. From classic diamond rings and elegant earrings to whimsical brooches sprouting elephants and giraffes, we enjoy making jewellery  that is unique, finely finished and comfortable to wear. We also work together with our customers in creating custom designs.

Displaying with like minded artists as part of the Dundas Studio Tour is a joy and an opportunity
to show our latest work in the perfect setting.
